Codex Systems is led by James Buist and sits within the wider Codex 2020 Ltd business. James brings a rare mix of hands-on technology delivery, financial market experience and operational understanding, which makes Codex especially useful where business systems need to be practical, reliable and properly aligned to the way an organisation actually works.
Over many years he has worked with investment funds and fund operations teams across a range of middle and back office processes, reporting workflows and supporting technologies. That background helps bring a more grounded, commercially aware perspective to Microsoft 365, backup, infrastructure and security decisions, particularly in environments where resilience, control and operational clarity matter.
Specialist Excel modelling, training and workbook engineering continue through ExcelCodex, while Codex Systems now serves as the simpler front door for the broader technology, cloud and infrastructure side of the business.
